Permission: Assignment - Everyone can execute

Create a new file called myemptyfile. You can use:

touch myemptyfile

Check its permissions using:

ls -l myemptyfile

Using chmod, give it permissions such that the owner of the file should be able to modify. Everyone should be able to execute but no one other than can modify the file.

INSTRUCTIONS

Give permission to the file such that

  • The owner of the file should be able to modify
    • Everyone (Owner, Group, Others) should be able to execute
    • None other than the owner can modify (or write to) the file
