Job Description

We are looking for an energetic & solid back-end developer to build services around the health information and intelligence that BuddhiMed is building. This involves writing efficient back-end services interacting with complex databases and implementing ML/AI solutions. Back-end engineers work closely with data, product and data science teams to build the right solutions. Given that we are processing healthcare data to build novel AI/ML products, it is of utmost importance to maintain high-quality standards in all areas.

Must have:

• Strong problem solving & analytical skills and ability to comprehend/process complex data.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills preferably in Python scripting, ability to write clean structured code
• Hands-on experience in developing REST APIs, developing applications using web frameworks like Django and Flask.
• Experience interacting with relational / NoSQL databases and implementing database access objects.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with AWS services like lambda, load balancing, ECS/Fargate, RDS, and DynamoDB is a big plus.
• Familiarity with frontend development using frameworks like React, Angular and Bootstrap is a plus.
• Experience in dockerizing applications.
• Experience working with responsive web applications involving large databases.
• Experience in server-side performance optimization techniques like In-memory databases / caching.
