Testkit is an education and technology platform provider for India's leading test-prep and corporates. Founded by Gagan Girotra (IIT Roorkee and IIM Calcutta) having several years of experience in technology & education, Testkit is a one-stop solution for coaching institutes and corporates. Our offerings include Web & Android-based online test platform, Institute Management System and Content solutions. From our current focus on Aptitude Tests for job-exams (SSC, Banking, Railways, etc.) & entrance exams (CAT, BMS, CLAT, etc.), we are in the process of expanding our offering to Engineering and Medical markets. TestKit is based in New Delhi and has currently over 30 institutes across 12 states for clients.
Problem Definition for the project:
TestKit has an ever-growing database of tests (questions) and students who are attempting these questions online. We are dividing our problem definition into two sections:
Section I : Solving student problems by building a system (over Question Database) This would require developing (a) auto-classification of the questions based on vector differences, (b) data extraction based on NLP
Section 2: Advising student on performance improvement by building a system (over Student Attempt Database)This would require predicting the difficulty levels or identifying questions that could possibly be be wrong. Also, given a question paper and historical user attempts, find the questions which are good / bad discriminators (of student level) in the same category.
