Job Description

1.We are looking for a Data Scientist to build data products to be the core of SAAS company disrupting the Skill market.

2.In this role, you should be highly analytical with a keen understanding for Data, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Analysis, Algorithms, Products, Maths and statistics.

3.The hands-on individual would be playing multiple roles of being a Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Data Analysts, Business Analyst, Efficient Coder and above all Problem Solver.

4.You would be required to create and participate in evolving Analytical culture of the organization, experiment with the existing Analytical Techniques, Improvise on existing algorithms to solve the problems at hand, Innovate new algorithms to disrupt the industry, and play the critical role in solving the problems at hand.

Responsibilities

1. Identify relevant data sources – combination of data sources to make it useful
2. Build the automation of the collection processes
3. Pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
4. Handle large amounts of information to create the input to Analytical Models
5. Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
6. Innovate Machine-Learning, Deep-Learning algorithms
7. Build Network graphs, NLP, Forecasting Models
8. Building data pipelines for end-to-end solutions
9. Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
10. Collaborate with product development teams
11. Communicate with the senior leadership teams
12. Participate in Problem solving sessions

Requirements

1. Analytical mind and business acumen.
2. Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra).
3. Problem-solving aptitude.
4. Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate technical information.
5. Fluency with at least one data science/analytics programming language (e.g. Python, R, Julia)
6. Start-up experience is a plus.
7. Ideally 4-6 years of advanced analytics experience in startups/marquee com.
8. Extensive machine learning and algorithmic background with a deep level understanding of at least one of the following areas: supervised and unsupervised learning methods, deep learning, Bayesian inference, Network graphs, Natural Language Processing.
9. Bachelor's degree in a highly quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, Operations Research, etc) or equivalent experience.
