In Step # 4, there is a step to visualize the data using Latitude & Longitude. Latitude & longitude together make a point to plot on any map and they should together be plotted as one unit against something like - Median Income (on X-axis). Just curious about the reason why we choose latitude & longitude to plot and what insights we get out of it ?

Hi Dileep,

That's an excellent question, and I appreciate your interest in understanding the rationale behind using latitude and longitude in our analysis.

Latitude and longitude provide crucial geographical information about specific locations, allowing us to explore spatial relationships, identify patterns and clusters, and gain insights into how various factors vary across different geographic regions. In our case, we use latitude and longitude to investigate how median house value is influenced by geographical regions.

Upon observing the plot, we can draw several conclusions. For instance, it's evident that house prices are closely tied to location and population density. Houses situated towards the left side of the plot tend to have higher prices. Further investigation reveals that there's an ocean to the left, indicating that houses near the ocean typically command higher prices. However, it's worth noting that this isn't a universal rule, as evidenced by the lower prices observed in the upper left corner, despite their proximity to the ocean.

I encourage you to experiment with plotting the data as you suggested and share your insights with us. Understanding different perspectives and interpretations enriches our analysis and helps us derive more comprehensive insights from the data.

I followed the same steps why I'm getting different answer. Is database is changed?

I don't think you have followed the same steps as your rmse is quite too low and your model is most probably overfitting. Make sure you have sampled data correctly.

It would be good if link to downloadable files are provided in resources tab

Hi @@disqus_de8ipwhfeo:disqus ,

Just curious which files are you talking about.

In this we are using housing.csv as example. These CSV files should be provided in the resource section instead on providing the address in the video.

Hi Mukesh,

Thank you for the feedback. We will try to provide the resource section as soon as possible.

Thanks
