The Intel® Edge Software Hub allows developers easy access to customizable software packages with pretested, validated integrated modules from Intel as well as open-source communities and a rapidly growing ecosystem of third-party solution developers. These packages are built specifically to meet vertical requirements for targeted edge use cases.
Machine learning, deep learning, and other AI processes are quickly reshaping the way enterprises deploy computer vision technologies. These developments are enabling power-efficient cameras to be the basis of solutions that can sense, infer, and execute. Enabling these capabilities requires complex software solutions that integrate computer vision, AI, and analytics processes from edge to cloud and back again. Intel is addressing this complexity with Edge Insights for Vision: a free package of tools and software that accelerates inference solution development for computer vision. It offers an optimized and simplified Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit setup with a media pipeline that speeds inference at the edge. It also includes support for workload consolidation deployment scenarios for simplified sharing of Intel® Vision Accelerator Design products. It also enables edge-to-cloud architecture and multicloud workflow integration with cloud service provider edge SDKs. All these provide a seamless edge-to-cloud developer experience for creating computer vision applications for key edge use cases.
