2048 6x6 is an expanded version of the classic number-merging puzzle, played on a spacious 6×6 grid. Players move all tiles up, down, left, or right to combine matching numbers. Two identical tiles merge into one tile with double their value, such as 2 + 2 = 4 and 4 + 4 = 8. The goal is to create the 2048 tile and continue building even larger numbers while preventing the board from filling up. Its bigger grid offers more freedom, longer sessions, and new strategic possibilities. A Larger Version of the Classic Puzzle

The game takes place on a 6×6 board containing 36 spaces. Numbered tiles appear on the grid, usually beginning with a value of 2 or 4. When two tiles with the same number collide, they combine to create a tile worth twice as much.

For example, two 2 tiles become 4, two 4 tiles create 8, and the sequence continues through 16, 32, 64, 128, and beyond. The primary objective is to build increasingly valuable tiles while preventing the board from filling completely.

Compared with a traditional 4×4 layout, the larger board provides more space to recover from small mistakes. However, this extra room can also create a false sense of security. If low-value tiles become scattered across the grid, organizing them later may be surprisingly difficult.
