Free Webinar on AI in Earth Sciences

Starts at:
Thursday, October 28 @ 2:30 p.m. UTC
Ends at:
Thursday, October 28 @ 4:30 p.m. UTC

About the Event

The field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is influencing all domains that require inference and human decision-making. AI and its subfields of Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) can be applied to effectively and efficiently analyze the large volume of earth science data collected over decades. There are petabytes of freely available data from multiple organizations across the globe to be used for studying earth science including global change and the phenomenon directly impacting the health of the planet, its inhabitants, and the relationship between these. This webinar provides an introduction to AI in Earth Sciences and how it opens avenues to a new world of possibilities.

Agenda of the webinar:

  • What is AI?
  • What is Earth Science?
  • Why use AI in Earth Sciences?
  • Where to find (free) global Earth Science Data?
  • How is AI being used in Earth Sciences?
  • Open Discussion and Q&A

The Certificate of Participation will be provided from CloudxLab to all the attendees.
